This weeks favorite will probably come as a bit of surprise to some of you.

I know what you are thinking!!.."Isn't that the dance place?" Well, yes, they do have some pretty good dance music (except for this past Friday.... one can try and "cut a little rug" with rap only so long (suggestion to the D.J....when no one goes out on the floor until 12:30 am.... change your music choices.) Hey! This is my only form of exercise.... don't mess with it..

Anyway, back to the part we want to know about... FOOD!

I got the "Steak on a Flaming Plank" or some other wild name. Of course, that's not what they called it, but my name choice is more descriptive. They bring out a steak on a burning plank of wood. The concept was interesting to say the least. My first thought was, "I am defiantly sending this one back if it is not my perfect medium rare." I'm sorry guys, but that's how I favor my steaks! Surprisingly, it was my perfect MEDIUM RARE! It must have still been moving when they lit it up. The taste was good.... different, but good. I've also had the Jack Daniels Steak and suggested it to my friend. They gave a thumbs up on the dish.

My other friend had the barbecue Salmon. I wasn't too sure about that one. Something about barbecue and Salmon just doesn't sound too appealing to me, although I wouldn't think steak on a plank would be my choice either. She really liked it and said that she would eat it again.

The other big benefit of eating at Shoeless was
NO WAITING!!!!! AT 8:30 P.M. ON FRIDAY!!!

Yes, you heard right. And if you get there before 9 P.M., you don't have to pay their piddly "Cover Charge." That is another issue I won't get into now. But I will leave you with a thought.... what's the deal with that!!!
